A Fun Filled Weekend!!!

This past weekend was a fun filled weekend for me. Mommy took me to so many events that I was ready to crash come Sunday night. We kicked off the weekend with watching the Aggies play basketball. Mommy and Daddy took me to Ozona's for an Aggie watch party. It was alot of fun and the team won!!!

When I woke up on Saturday; my heart started to flutter...today I would get to see Taylor. (the love of my life) First, we headed over to a wedding shower for my Aunt Cassidy. It was so much fun. I got to meet Aunt Cassidy's and mommy's friend Cheri and I got to play with Granny Pam.

The next stop on our social calendar was to go to Taylor's house. Taylor turned 1 years old and she invited me to her birthday party. I got Taylor some cute gifts and helped mommy make her cupcakes for the party. We made butterfly cupcakes because Taylor makes my heart flutter:) Taylor was very impressed and as a Thank You...we made a date for dinner on Sunday night.

Isn't she beautiful

Sunday night could not come fast enough. We woke up to SNOW AGAIN and I was really hoping it would not mean canceling the chance to see Taylor. Mommy and Daddy made plans to go back to Ozona's to watch the aggies play ball again and Amy & Taylor were going to come and meet us later.

Taylor came dressed in her little Aggie Cheerleader outfit. I loved it!!! She is by far my favorite Aggie fan!

I was STARVING when the family arrived and Taylor was so sweet and offerd me her bottle so that I would not go hungry.

I politely declined and mommy made me my own bottle. We then shared our meal time together and it was heaven!

This was probably the best weekend of my entire life! I love you Taylor!

A SWINGING Good Time!!

Hey guys....did you know that having your mom or dad put you in a swing at an early age is actually really good for you? Swings are not only great fun; they also help us kids develop physically and socially.

That feeling of you going back and forth is from the pendulum action and it helps contribute to our development of balance and mastering the sitting position while swinging.

While your mommy and daddy may think it is just funny watching you laugh uncontrollably and just another moment to put in the baby book; what they may not know is that you are truly developing fine motor skills. We all know the REAL reason why us kids love the swing....it is the feel of the wind on our faces. Now I understand why dogs have that urge to put their faces out of a moving car window. SWINGS ROCK!!!!

Childhood Obesity

Hey friends...did you know that their is a disease for kids because they are FAT. This is called childhood obesity. Mommy said it is a disease that affects many children because they are not taught the proper way to eat healthy and have a good fitness plan in their daily routine.

Now I don't want the ladies to think I am conceited about my self image and only into looks...but I don't want to have health problems because I neglected my diet or fitness.

I asked mommy to tell me more about this disease and she found that the Mayo Clinic states, "Childhood obesity is a serious medical condition that affects children and adolescents. It occurs when a child is well above the normal weight for his or her age and height. Childhood obesity is particularly troubling because the extra pounds often start kids on the path to health problems that were once confined to adults, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol."

I don't want to be one of those kids....so mommy helped me start a work out routine. Check me out!!

So if you have not yet found your fitness groove; I encourage you to ask your parents to help you get started. I don't know about you but I am taking a stand against childhood obesity. Who's With Me?!?! (Michelle Obama)
